August 1, 2009 (Issue #1) – What do you spin? I like to spin a variety of music. I try not to keep it all in one genre. I’ll play from melodic techno, to a deep dark techno, from tech house to some deep house, compile it all together and produce an amazing set!
How and why did you start spinning? I gained interest in DJing back in 2000 but it wasn’t till 2002 where I got my own set of vinyl players from my older brother who had them sitting around. Then I started off messing around with old school hip hop and break beats, trying to become a master in scratching! Then about six months later I heard an amazing set by John Digweed and Sasha they had done back in ‘99 and from that moment on I decided to try electronic music, buying vinyl here and there, whenever I could. I practiced everyday after I got out of school, never thinking that I would have gone this far with it and still continuing to take it further!
Where do you spin? Well, I don’t have a residency anywhere but places I have spun at here in El Paso include Studio 69 (Acid Girls), D’ Club (Lunar Meltdown event), Soho Lounge, Cherry Creek, The Garage, Altitude, and in Juarez, Mexico, I’ve played at Segundo Piso a couple times which is where I actually played my first professional gig thanks to DJ Barbie.
Are you under any labels? At the moment I’m not!
Any companies? Lunar Meltdown
Do you spin vinyl or CDs? In the beginning, for me it was all about vinyl, but as for now I am using CDs a lot more than vinyl.
What are your goals? My goals are to provide good quality music; a sound that not many people are used to but knowing that they will enjoy it and to just have fun with it!

Best and worse show? So far all of my shows have been good. As long as I’m having fun and I got the crowd moving, that’s all that matters to me!
Favorite DJ? To name a few… Gui Boratto, Guy Gerber, Marc Romboy, Digweed and Sasha, Gorge and Andre Hommen!
Best party ever attended and why? I’m going to have to go with a PD party in Juarez where Infusion and Junkie XL played back in 2004. They simply just put on a good show. Go Back…
