August 1, 2009 (Issue #1) – What do you spin? Hybrid Tech DnB
How and why did you start spinning? I love me some drum and bass!!! I had been attending events for years and was always up front at the DJ booth, just watching. I finally met some friends with tables, started collecting records, and learned.
Where do you spin? Usually just house parties, I’ve spun for a few venues at weekly events, Blue Agave, Chics, Hush etc.
Are you under any labels? Napes in the nay nay
Any companies? Nope
Do you spin vinyl or CD’s? Vinyl… real men carry 12 inches… Jk…
What are your goals? My personal goals are just to be a badass dj. Fame really isn’t too important to me. I’m in it for the music, cause i love it.
Do you have a website or Myspace? Nope
What has been your best and worst show and for what reason? Oh man… I was playing at a weekly and they had me scheduled a 1 to 2 slot, and I didn’t get out of work until 11… When I arrived I drank heavily until the time I spun and did terrible… It was also dollar Pabst Blue Ribbon night… oooops.
Favorite DJ/Producer? Raiden and Frankie Bones
Best party ever attended and why (not counting events you have spun at)? Planet of the Drums. Need I give a reason? Go Back…
