August 1, 2009 (Issue #1) – What do you spin? Techno / Tech House
How and why did you start spinning? I started spinning in Juarez, Mexico, at a New Year’s Eve when everybody else was already asleep, I started playing with some Pioneers 1000’s and I was hooked after that.
Where do you spin? I have spun everywhere. I started at Koobah Bar on Tuesdays like 3 years ago, and after that was Kush, Casa Jurado, The Op, Myst, Republic, D’Club, Studio 69 and now I have a residency at Vanilla where every Thursday I invite some of my Dj friends in El Paso to spin with me.
Are you under any labels? I recently started producing but nothing seriously yet.

Do you spin vinyl or CD’s? Both
What are your goals? My goals as a DJ/Producer are to get signed by a big label and maybe for some of the big DJs to play my music and be known by my style and my rhythm.

What has been your best and worst show and for what reason? Best show has been Tiesto at 69 where I was spinning in the VIP while Tiesto was spinning at the same time in the main room. A lot of people who went to see Tiesto were at my room instead of hearing him play. I was just surprised.
Favorite DJ/Producer? Sander Kleinenberg & Ali “Dub Fire”
Best party ever attended and why (not counting events you have spun at)? Best event I attended was this Winter Music Conference 2009 at Miami. I never thought that I could party from Monday till Sunday. MON-WED were different parties. Thursday was at the Mansion = Sacha & John Digweed Friday = Ultra Fest & Paul Van Dyk after party, Saturday = Ultra Fest & Armin Van Buuren after party, Sunday = Danny Tenaglia at the Shelbourne Hotel from 12 am till 10 pm and closing the party at Shelbourne Hotel VIP with Sander Kleineberg.
